Service Description

Creative Mixed Media Art Journaling Discover the joy of creativity in this four-week mixed media art journaling class for all ages. Through paint, collage, drawing, color, texture, and found materials, participants will create a personalized art journal while exploring a variety of artistic techniques. No artistic experience is required. This class is designed for beginners and experienced creators alike, offering a supportive space to experiment, play, and express yourself through art. Each week introduces new materials and creative prompts that encourage curiosity, imagination, and personal discovery. Participants will learn mixed media techniques, develop confidence in their creative abilities, and leave with a journal filled with meaningful artwork and inspiration to continue creating at home. What to Expect: Hands-on mixed media art activities Watercolor, acrylic paint, collage, and drawing techniques Creative prompts and guided instruction A welcoming, supportive environment All materials provided Class Format: 4 weekly sessions, 1.5 hours each Whether you're looking to explore a new hobby, connect with your creativity, or simply enjoy the process of making art, this class offers an opportunity to slow down, create, and have fun


Cancellation Policy

Scheduling The program is designed as a 10-week continuous cohort. If a session is missed due to participant absence or scheduling conflicts within the host organization, the session will be considered completed as scheduled. Scope of Services This program provides expressive arts–based wellness and recovery support activities designed to encourage self-expression, emotional awareness, and community connection. The program does not provide clinical therapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment. Participants receiving clinical or therapeutic services are encouraged to continue working with their primary providers. Confidentiality Participants are encouraged to respect the privacy of others in the group. While facilitators maintain professional confidentiality, complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in group settings. Liability Participation in expressive arts activities is voluntary. Participants are responsible for engaging at a level that feels comfortable for them. HEART Centered Healing Arts + Education is not responsible for injuries resulting from misuse of materials or activities outside the facilitator’s guidance. Agreement By participating in the program, individuals and partner organizations acknowledge that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
